Fjelltur.

Det finnes mange flotte fjetturer på Madeira. Skal en opp på det høyeste punktet, Pico do Arieiro, på 1818 m.o.h. er det greitt å bruke egen bil. Det går organisete turer, men har en egen bil er det fint å kjøre opp til som er utgangspunktet gturen. Madeira er en vulkanøy med dype daler opp fra sjøen. Utpå dagen er det vanlig at det kommer fuktig luft opp dalene fra øst og dermed kan vi få tett og tildel kald tåke. Dette er ikke vær å gå i dette område.
